Manoj born as Manchu Manoj Kumar Babu born on 20th May 1983 to a veteran actor Mohan Babu as younger son ,did his bachelors degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, He has got an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an upcoming actor in Tollywood.
Manchu Manoj is familiar to Telugu audience right from his childhood. He played many roles as a child artist in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid movie Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm.
His debut film as a hero was Donga Dongadi which is remake from a Tamil movie called Thiruda Thirudi was an average at the box office. Manchu Manoj has produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.
